4 Questions To Help You Decide If You Have What It Takes

4 Questions tick list

Question, have you got what it takes to become a Practitioner of NLP?

I’m often asked this question: “Do I have what it takes to become a Practitioner of NLP?” It’s a great question and one worth exploring deeply. To help you understand if you’re on the right path, here are four essential questions to ask yourself. Let’s dive in and see if you tick all the ‘boxes’.

Curiosity is the cornerstone of NLP. Are you curious about yourself and others? Are you intrigued by the very nature of curiosity itself? Do you find yourself wondering about human behaviour around you?

Curiosity drives us to explore, to ask questions, and to seek deeper understanding. It’s the spark that ignites learning and growth. If you find yourself constantly wanting to know more, to dig deeper into how people do what they do, then you’re already on the right path. NLP is process driven, it’s all about the ‘how’.

Tick! If your answer is yes, then you’ve got the first essential trait for becoming a Practitioner of NLP.

Do you feel a sense of untapped potential within? Perhaps there’s a feeling deep inside that you have more to offer, even if you can’t quite put it into words. It’s that inner voice telling you that there’s more to discover about yourself and what you can achieve.
NLP is about unlocking that potential, bringing out the best in yourself and others. It’s about realising that there are resources within you that you haven’t yet fully accessed. If you sense that there’s more inside you waiting to be unleashed, then this is a sign that NLP could be your path.

Tick! If you feel or know there’s inner potential, then you’re a step closer to being an NLP Practitioner.

An open mind is crucial for embracing new learning, knowledge, and skills. NLP offers a wealth of techniques and insights that can make an immediate impact both at work and at home. To benefit from these, you need and want to be willing to step outside your comfort zone and experience new approaches.
Are you ready to challenge your current beliefs and be open to new perspectives? Can you see the value in learning something that might completely change how you view the world?

Tick! If you’re open to new experiences and learning, then you have another key quality needed for NLP.

Personal growth requires an investment of time and energy. This means carving out space in your busy life to focus on yourself, perhaps for the first time in a while. It’s about putting yourself first, recognising that you are worth the investment.
Yes, there is a financial cost, more importantly it’s about investing your time and energy in your personal development and growth. This is where the real value lies. Are you prepared to make this commitment to yourself?

Tick! If you’re willing to invest in yourself, then you’re ready to embark on the journey of training to become an NLP Practitioner.
